| Bio: | Hi, my name is Theresa and I'm 17, in 11th grade. To quell any potential curiosity brought on by my age, I have no clue where I'm going to college and I'm going to major in English. I'm a total authoress and have been writing/cartooning since I could spell my name. Tragically, my best stories are surprisingly narrow and all told from the veiwpoint of teenage girls. I'm hoping to expand my horizons by reading more adult books this summer, but adolescent stories remain my absolute fave. My cartoons are mostly political, but I can't draw so a lot of them are stuck in my head. I'm also an actress, mainly cause I like singing in the musicals. My problem is that I am not, as my English teacher put it, unabashed, and therefore my acting career shall go nowhere. Ah well. This year I am Tzeitle in my highschool's production of Fiddler On The Roof, and I aspire to one day play Elphaba in Wicked... somehow... somewhere... for whatever reason. OMG, I'm spending my savings to see that play at the Benedum on my 18th b-day; I can afford like front row seats too! Sooo excited! As of now, though, my life is utterly consumed by the play (yay!) and the curse I call homework. I hate it. Senior year I'm taking lighter courses, but for the next six weeks I'm stuck with all these Honors/AP classes - blegh. The sibs: I have a brother who is normal and a sister who is psycho; we're pretty well-off, my family. I feel like I'm rich even though I'm not. In the past month alone my parents have given me a total of $100 just because I said, "I need some money." I intend on paying them back when I get my first job. I have my drivers permit but don't really want my license cause I can't afford gas, I'm too lazy to drive, and also I much prefer horses. Unfortunately, I live in the suburbs. Cars are a must to do basically anything. Horses aren't allowed. Blegh. And, oh yeah, I am a Jesus freak. I actually like going to church every week, I talk to Him like every day at least, and last Lent I gave up chocolate and didn't even cheat on Sundays - that's gotta be love right there. :-) I guess that's it for me. Did I mention that the words "brief", "short", and "mini" never seem to register with me when I'm writing? Well, I guess you can figure that out. Luv&Peace, Theresa. |
